21 days after the death of former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, it was confirmed that he had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Mr. Mukherjee's contribution to the country, saying that the former President had "left an indelible mark on the development path of our nation".
