Well, it is going to be a gamechanger for Indian Defense.

We can see that India is now focused on it's a defense for the past couple of months.
The jets manufactured by Dassault Aviation - and operated by Indian Air Force officials - flew from Merignac in southwest France, the company said in a statement.
By Wednesday, after traveling 7,000 kilometers with the UAE pit-stop, they should be at Ambala Airport in India, which is about 200 kilometers from the Pakistani and Chinese borders.

He is also accompanied by two A330 Phoenix MRTT refueling aircraft of the French Air Force.

Delivery of the Rafale jet - 36 of which India ordered in September 2016 - officially began in October, but the aircraft stayed in France for training pilots and mechanics. Delivery must be completed by 2022.

The five jets are the first of a batch bought by New Delhi in a controversial Rs 59,000-crore inter-government deal that expects the aircraft to be deployed rapidly amid tensions with China.

The Air Force has stated that once the aircraft arrives in India, "efforts will focus on operating the aircraft as soon as possible."

Rafale fighter jets are capable of carrying a range of highly effective weapons, including meteorite air-to-air missiles and scalp cruise missiles.

Rafale jets will come with various India-specific modifications, including Israeli helmet-mounted displays, radar warning receivers, low-band jammers, 10-hour flight data recording, infra-red search, and tracking systems.
